Animal Shelter
The Taylor Animal Shelter provides many services, such as animal adoptions, lost and found animals, licensing, animal rescue within the city, and responding to the complaints of residents regarding neglected and loose animals.

Ordinance Department
The Ordinance Department is operated through the Building Department Building Inspectors and through the Animal Control Officers. Inspectors and Officers are routinely dispersed through the city to ensure properties are being maintained according to the local code and ordinances.

Treasurer
The City of Taylor Treasurer's Office is essentially the tax collection arm of the City. It is responsible for collecting all monies payable to the City of Taylor, including taxes, water bills, licenses, and permit fees at the cashier's window.

The Taylor Water and Sewer Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of 308 miles of water main and over 248 miles of sanitary sewer mains.
