Greg Bzura is best known as the founder and organizer of Little League Baseball’s Junior League World Series, which brings the best teams of 13 and 14-year-old baseball players to Taylor. He has served as the volunteer director since the tournament’s inception in 1981. He expanded the series to include foreign countries, fostering positive international relations and advancing worldwide attitudes toward the City of Taylor.
A current member of the Taylor City Council, a longtime official in the Taylor South Little League, Bzura has been a longtime official in the Taylor South Little League and has served as a member of the Taylor Recreation Commission.
