A Commercial Facilities Exemption is a tax incentive for 1 to 12 years for a commercial property. The property must be in a Commercial Rehabilitation District.
An Industrial Facilities Exemption provides a tax incentive to manufacturers to enable renovation and expansion to aging facilities, assist in the building of new facilities, and to promote new high tech industries. The project must be located in an Industrial Development District. This abatement entitles the facility to exemption from real and/or personal property for 1 to 12 years.
