Residents should ignore bogus water safety notice

The Great Lakes Water Authority is warning residents of its member communities to ignore a bogus postcard sent out to some addresses in GLWA communities. Taylor is a member of GLWA , which supplies water to its members in the region.

A Missouri company attempting to sell water purification products makes false claims in the mailer. GLWA assures residents in its participating communities that it supplies water that not only meets, but exceeds, the standards set by the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Attached is a photo of the bogus postcard. Please ignore it.
