[ARCHIVED] Taylor Animal Shelter holds adoption day before renovations take place

The Taylor Animal Shelter is not accepting any more animals at this time, pending interior renovations planned at the facility next week.

The flooring inside the shelter is undergoing renovations.

In an effort to clear as many pets as possible during this period, the shelter will host an adoption day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, August 6. Shelter staff encourage anyone looking for a pet to stop by. Any pets remaining will be fostered by rescue supporters and shelters in surrounding communities.

The renovations will force the facility to close to the public from August 8-13. It will reopen for business on August 15.
