As South Korea eased some social distancing restrictions and prepared to fully reopen schools and businesses, fears of a second wave emerged after the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 69 new cases in 48 hours — the equivalent of the amount the country had recorded the entire previous week.
