About the Pool

The pool is located in Northwest Park, which borders Van Born Road between Beech Daly and John Daly.

Historically, Northwest Pool was one of two outdoor public pools in the City. The other was located in Heritage Park. While Northwest remained closed for three years, the Heritage Park pool was totally razed and filled in. While there are no plans for a pool at Heritage Park, a large splash pad unit will eventually be installed on the south end of the renovated Sheridan Center.

The Northwest Park Pool features zero depth entry and fun water features.

Lifeguard Employment

Candidates must be able to work weekend hours, Friday through Sunday.

Interested candidates should apply at the Human Resource Department located on the second floor at the front of City Hall, 23555 Goddard Road, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The City of Taylor employment application may also be downloaded from our Jobs Module. A copy of the candidate's current lifeguard certification must be submitted with employment applications.
