Citywide Garage Sale

The City of Taylor will again offer two Citywide Garage Sale periods in 2023. The first will be from May 26-June 4, and the second from August 18-27. Each of these periods will enable participants to have two full weekends of garage sales, should weather be a problem during one of the weekends. No permit is required to hold your garage sale during these dates only.

City Hall closed for Memorial Day holiday. Will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 30.

No instructor - students follow yoga instructor on CD This ultimate workout will help you equalize blood pressure, aid in relaxation and controlling diabetes, eliminates stress, detoxifies and repairs internal organs, helps digestion promotes anti-aging process, rejuvenates the entire body, provides cardio and circulation benefits, provides toning, shaping and building muscle.

Senior Aerobics

Come join Jim and Donna as they volunteer to get already active seniors moving. All are welcome to join and enjoy the benefits of working out in a group.

Plarning-Mats for the Needy

Plarning is making yarn from out of plastic strips (plarn) cut from grocery bags. The strips are crocheted into 3'x6' mats that are distributed to the homeless. The mats are lightweight, washable, bug resistant and also benefit our environment by putting the plastic bags to good use instead of our landfills. Approximately 700-1000 bags are used to complete one mat. This group meets every Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:30 am. We always need volunteers to sort, cut or crochet. If this interests you, why not join in and help provide a means for a needy cause and pass a good deed forward. We'd love to have you!

TaiJiFit

Kim Batko is the instructor. Taijifit is a mind/body exercise that combines the best of traditional tai chi with modern western fitness. It's a workout appropriate for any age or fitness level and has you experiencing the flow of tai chi whether it's your first class or 100th.
